PROFESSIONAL sPRAY TAN PRODUCT line
It is important to provide quality products for my clients in both treatments and home care products. I proudly use Sunna Tan for all my professional spray tans, and sell this amazing line for you to maintain and prolong the life of your spray tan at home.
Before & After Care
- It’s important to book your tan 2 days before your event so that the solution has had time to develop.
- Make sure you’ve scheduled all other spa treatments prior to your spray tan i.e., facials, waxing, mani/pedi.
- Please exfoliate and shave prior to the tan. Do not put any moisturizer on as this can lead to a less effective setting of the tan or discolouring. It’s recommend to shave and exfoliate at least 12 hours before your tan to avoid the solution getting stuck in your hair follicles and leaving little dark dots.
- Do not apply makeup, moisturizer, body mists, oils, perfume deodorant etc before your tan. Your skin should be product free. Clean, bare skin will give you best results.
- It is strongly recommended to remove jewelry such as bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings prior to your tan to avoid tan lines. Small piercings such as upper ear/ cartilage, nose, eyebrow, breast, belly button etc. do not need to be removed.
- Some girls opt to wear a bikini, or a bra and underwear set. If you do so, it’s recommended to pick dark undergarments with minimal coverage…like a throng or G-string. Some girls prefer to be nude to prevent tan lines. This is a great option if you’re going on vacation, going to be wearing different bathing suit styles or if you’ll be wearing an outfit that may reveal unwanted tan lines. The tan artist is comfortable with whatever you decide as we get a huge variation of both. We do have for purchase disposable underwear if you prefer that.
- Wear something loose, dark, and flowy for best results after your spray tan as the solution sets in and develops. The goal is to avoid your tan rubbing off on your clothes or looking uneven, so it’s ideal to avoid tight or fitted clothing. The looser and baggier, the better. Some sort of loose, full length pant and loose, long sleeve shirt is recommended.
- It’s essential to allow the time for your tan to develop. It’s recommended to plan accordingly with the weather, like rain or humidity. The goal is to avoid having your tan get wet premature or in an environment that you’ll sweat in as this can affect the results of your glow. Other activities that involve getting wet or sweaty should be avoided during the developing phase of your tan.
- Wear dark loose clothing. Tight clothing or underwear may cause marks.
- Wear shoes that slide on or are loose fitting.
- Short rinse 6-8 hours after your tan. Only soap the essentials. Gently pat yourself dry. The rinse activates phase 2 of the tan. Phase 2 adds a little more colour, nothing super aggressive.
- Avoid putting on moisturizer after the rinse. Leave about 4-6 hours from rinse time before applying moisturizer to your skin.
- 4-6 hours after the rinse, you can have a normal shower if you wish.
- 24 hours after your tan, it is fully developed and you will be ready to glow!
- To prolong the life of your tan, moisturizer will be your best friend!
- Avoid sweating and don't exercise or swim for the first 24 hours after your spray fan treatment.
- To prolong the life of your tan, use tanning boosters.
